Chambray & Flowy Skirts

Happy Wednesday everyone! Every August I start to get those end of summer blues as I see Fall apparel slowly appearing in-store. Even though I love dressing for Fall, it's hard for me to let go of summer and make the transition. Summer is by far my favourite season, so it doesn't help that it's over so quickly. It also doesn't help that this year has been one of the hottest summers in BC since I can remember, making it even more difficult to let go. Today, I'm saying goodbye to summer outfits and welcoming Fall:-).

Fixing my outfit, while chase decides to randomly snap a photo!! Lol.

I never use to be a leopard kind of gal but with a hint of leopard I find it really compliments a look. The chambray top is also key wardrobe element from summer transitioning into Fall. I've had this top for years and I've paired it with just about everything!

Chase and I just booked our trip to San Francisco for TwitchCon for the end of September. We're not only super pumped for the event, but that we also get a chance to explore San Francisco together for the first time. We booked a few extra days for ourselves as the event only goes on for two days. I would love to hear of some great places to check out from anyone that lives there or has been before!

  1. This is a perfect transition look Ela!! Leopard is basically a neutral itself and would look great with more of your outfits! I love fall, but it is definitely hard to see summer go. Especially since I know what comes after fall!

  13. What a gorgeous style. I also get the end of summer blues. There totally is something charming about the leopard print if kept at a minimum. Lovely bag and necklace. :)

  14. This outfit is super cute! I love those pumps! And oh my goodness, have a blast in San Fran - one of my favorite cities! All of the touristy things in San Fran are a good time (driving down Lombard St., Fisherman's Wharf, Ghiradelli Square, Golden Gate Bridge, etc.) My favorite memories, though, were doing the audio tour of Alcatraz, visiting the Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate State Park, and dining at El Mansour. El Mansour is a Moroccan restaurant with wonderful, authentic, and reasonably priced food...the service is great...and the belly dancers are incredible. It's easily my favorite restaurant in San Fran. Can't wait to hear about your trip!
