A Minimalist Approach to Wearing Pastels

Hope everyone had an awesome weekend! This weekend actually turned out to be sunny, despite all the crazy wind we had. With warmer days ahead, (crossing my fingers the weather lasts) I like to start incorporating more pastel pieces into my wardrobe this time of year.

I've always been a fan of pastel colours because of the feminine and romantic vibe. Now, when it comes to styling pastels, I tend to gravitate more towards a minimalist approach and pair them with neutral colours. For this look, I incorporated one pastel piece, being the long sleeve crop topand paired with a burgundy print midi skirt to serve as a contrast between the two. I finished off with a silver layered statement necklace, which I also styled in my Valentine's Day post here, a pair of black cat eye sunglasses, a white sleeveless vest, nude lace up heels, a black tote (styled here), and a burgundy pom keyring.

Skirt: Banana Republic Outlet (buy here) | Crop Top: Aritzia (buy here) | Necklace: Aldo (buy here) | Purse: Nine West; sold out (similar, similar, similar)| Sleeveless Vest: Dynamite; old (similarsimilar, similar) | Pom Keyring: H&M; sold out (similar, similar) | Sunglasses: old (similar)

I managed to bring in a few pieces from last season, including my lace up heels and white sleeveless vest. I got this white sleeveless vest last summer and wore it a ton that it's become a staple in my closet. You can also see me styling it here. I also purchased these nude lace up heels last year, which I wouldn't label a closet staple, but lace up flats/heels have been trending for many seasons now and I love how they take your outfit to a whole new level of chicness. I've linked a ton of cute lace up heels for you all to shop below!

I'd definitely love to to know what your favourite pastel shade is this season?! Let me know in the comments below!

Stay Blissful!:-)

I've been eyeing so many different lace up heels lately, but I figured since I already have a pair that I love I don't see the need in having to purchase another one lol. I have WAY too many shoes and honestly no where to put them anymore. Which I'm sure u can relate:p. Hope u have an awesome Easter weekend:-)
